About the Game

 

This is a journal of a limited materials solo campaign. I am only allowed the following five main works/categories, but have adopted some reference material to facilitate solo gaming and establish the game.

    • Oz Social Chart
    • Oz World Maps
    • The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, by Eric Shanower and Skottie Young

Splat Book:

  • Tome of Adventure Design Revised, by Matt Finch

 

Dungeon:

  • The Stygian Library, by Emmy Allen
    • An ephemeral, eternal, library full of all knowledge one might wish to seek.
    • Needs exposition to the party before it can be found.
    • Entrance is located in a random location (rolled per day) within the Great Library Ruins.

 

Adventure:

  • The Gardens of Ynn, by Emmy Allen
    • An ephemera, eternal, lush wilderness which was once ruled by fae. The gardens could contain any sort of special flora for alchemy, sorceries, or medicine.
    • Needs exposition to the party before it can be opened. Exposition also reveals how to leave ("The Realm of Oz, by Way of Ynn") if the doorway-portal closes, but there is only a X-in-30 chance that there is a suitable/workable surface where X is the current depth (and can only be tried once per "room").
